At NOLA Wise, we make saving energy and saving money EASY for you - just five simple steps! With our access to incentives and specially trained energy professionals to assess and upgrade your home, NOLA WISE can help you sleep comfortably at night. Request an energy assessment to get started!
An energy upgrade ensures your house is operating at peak performance. An energy upgrade can help you:

With a whole house assessment you’ll learn how much energy your home is wasting, an important first step in making smart choices to improve your home's performance. A HERS (Home Energy Rating System) certified professional will examine your house as a system, diagnose any problems or areas where the parts aren’t working efficiently, and recommend improvements for your comfort, safety, and energy savings.

After the whole house assessment, your home performance professional will provide you with a customized report detailing what measures can be taken to reduce your utility bills, the cost of each improvement, and the return on home investment (through energy savings) for each measure.
Some home energy upgrades that could be in your home upgrade package include: adding or improving insulation, maintaining or replacing your air conditioner or furnace, stopping leaks, installing efficient lighting, and maintaining or replacing large appliances.
The NOLA Wise Team can help answer any questions you may have about suggested home energy upgrades, and can offer objective advice about costs and cost effectiveness.
Our assessors and contractors are trained and knowledgeable in accessing local, state and federal incentives to offset the cost of your retrofit. This includes rebates from Entergy’s Energy Smart program as well as other incentives and rebates. We also have low interest, unsecured loans available from Fidelity Homestead Savings Bank to help finance your upgrade. Apply directly through the bank after you've received your final quote!
You may qualify for additional state, federal, and utility incentives on your home energy improvements. Our NOLA Wise Team of trained energy professionals can help identify and access these potential options.
Quality control is assured by NOLA Wise partners Green Coast Enterprises, which vets only local contractors who have achieved Building Performance Institute (BPI) certification, the nationally recognized standard for energy efficiency upgrades. Green Coast Enterprises also supervises the work done on the houses to ensure that the work meets performance expectations. The homeowner can feel secure knowing that only high quality, certified, and monitored contractors will have be working on the project.

Congratulations! You’ve now joined with other New Orleans homeowners who are enjoying the comforts and cost savings of an energy efficient home.
